Following his diploma at the woodworking school G. Terragni in Meda, Francesco Crippa started his apprenticeship in various workshops in Brianza and then in 2006 he opened his own activity as a wood carver and prototype maker, collaborating with important companies, designers and architects from the interior design sector to create mainly prototypes and single commissioned pieces. In his workshop in Lomagna near Lecco, he designs and constructs decorative elements, sculptures and furnishing accessories ranging from a classical style to a minimalist and contemporary design (like the project “Noses“) which unite a taste for the classic with the modern. He also offers various services from restoration to polishing and wood inlay and designs works and prototypes for both companies and private clients.
