In 1958, Alberto Geccherle bought an industrial building in Milan’s Porta Romana district and turned it into an art foundry, fulfilling his dream and starting an important tradition.
For several decades, the foundry has been producing elegant objects and silver luxury jewels, also collaborating with famous sculptors, like Arnaldo Pomodoro. Over the years, they refined and renewed their production process by adding new tools and machinery. Today, they create products in non-ferrous metals, namely gold, silver, bronze and aluminium. Starting from the client’s design or template, they melt components weighing from a few grams up to 20 kilos.
With great skill and creativity, the foundry artisans cater to the client’s requirements and support the work of young designers through the Geccherle Design Lab.
