Luca Lacetera is a master craftsman based in Cisternino, near Brindisi: for many years he has been working with limestone to create home decors, functional and design objects. After his studies in restoration, he discovered the charm of dry stone architecture from a master builder specializing in Apulian “Trulli” (the traditional houses of the area). So, he started experimenting with this material as a self-taught craftsman, soon learning to shape and give life to unique artistic creations: table and wall lamps, furnishings and interior design items for homes and kitchens, sculptures and bas-reliefs are all fully hand-sculpted starting from a single block of stone, extracted from the quarries of the Itria Valley, in Apulia. Each piece is endowed with surprisingly light and harmonious shapes, inspired by the constant pursuit of beauty, and is the result of the skillful combination of classical and modern shapes, tradition and experimentation.
