Macavé is a line of home decors, jewels and lamps all handmade according to the ancient “Tiffany” glassmaking technique.
The project started in 2018 in Cava de’ Tirreni, on the Amalfi Coast, inside Vetreria Capuano, a craft workshop founded by Marianna Capuano, daughter of master glassmakers active in the industry since the Seventies.
Macavè, with its line of contemporary Tiffany glass, aims to promote and reintroduce an ancient know-how, less and less known today, creating authentically hand-crafted and fully customizable home decors with a contemporary and innovative design.
Their production includes home décors inspired by the Mediterranean and Amalfi coast landscape: from local flora to marine fauna, from fruits to folkloristic symbols such at the typical Neapolitan lucky horn.
