Charaka Simoncelli is a visual artist and interior designer, owner of the decoration studio “Charaka Arte & Design” located in Cattolica, Rimini.
After her diploma at Milan’s Accademia Steineriana, she studied in India, at Poona’s Univerity of Creativity, where she gained her “Bachelor of Arts”, and in Milan again, at Fabrizio Ferri’s Università dell’Immagine (Image University).
Since 1995 she started managing interior design projects for architects and private clients in Italy and abroad, providing mural decorations, wallpapers, wall claddings, doors, room-dividers and other home furnishings, aiming to personalize every room and create special atmospheres. Wood, iron, paper or glass are treated in order to create textured, polished or engraved surfaces where motifs, patterns and colours make each project unique and precious. Charaka’s creations are able to adapt to a wide range of styles, always in keeping with Italian taste and craft tradition.
