Martino Antocchi is an artist who uses ceramics as a main means of expression.
In his research, his knowledge of the material and curiosity for the functionality of objects has led him to approach the typical working method of both the designer and the craftsman.
The workshop of Martino Antocchi and his partner, of life and work, is an open space full of objects: small and large, finished, unfinished or in process; here, the two ceramists carry on a craft made of passion and dedication.
The workshop is located in the “Antica Mola di Cori”, in the province of Latina: an ancient place that has always been used for production activities in the area, such as wine, oil and flour making.
The workshop is a real forge of ideas, where Martino creates his works of art, sculptures and functional objects in ceramic, personally designing each piece, producing the recipes for the glazes himself and firing the artefacts at high or low temperatures.
Starting from the Italian ceramic tradition, he experiments with materials and techniques, with a multidisciplinary approach devoted to the creation of commissioned, original and unique projects.
