Sezione R is Cristina Ragazzo’s artistic project, founded in 2019 after years of studying various craftsmanship techniques in order to give life to a creative goldsmith workshop where metalworking meets mosaic.
In her atelier in San Giovanni al Natisone, near Udine, Cristina creates jewels with a contemporary design, focusing on a continuous research and experimentation with innovative techniques and materials. The art of goldsmithing is thus combined with weaving and mosaic, giving life to truly peculiar bijoux made out of silver, copper, brass or other metals. Each jewel is in fact enriched by silver-thread stitches, micro-mosaic tiles or a special dedication. Each piece is patiently, dedicatedly and passionately handmade: thus, Sezione R’s accessories stand apart from traditional goldsmithry, yet maintaining the uniqueness and quality of one-of-a-kind handmade pieces.
