Festina Lente Studio is a workshop specializing in restoring and preserving artworks and textile artefacts, antique and otherwise, born from the collaboration between Elisa Monfasani, cultural heritage restorer, and Emanuela Fistos, restoration technician.
The studio is located in Bobbio, near Piacenza, and specializes in carrying out restoration work on sculpted wooden items, furnishings or wooden structures and textile, organic or leather materials and artefacts. These restorers apply the most advanced practices in the field of textile restoration, working for both public institutions and private collections.
The studio offers textiles and tapestry washing and artefact cataloguing services, as well as courses on loom and weaving techniques. Elisa and Emanuela also collaborate in organizing and staging exhibitions and public events dedicated to textile culture and art.
